Questions
Everything you might want to know before you take up arms.
Is it really free?
Yes. Parabellum is a non-commercial fan project: no shop, no donations, no paid boosts. Nothing in the game can be bought.
Which client do I need?
The World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic client, version 3.4.3. You don't have to find it yourself: the launcher downloads and installs it.
Do I need a Blizzard account or a subscription?
No. You play with a Parabellum account on our realm.
Does my gear matter?
Only for your looks. Stats come from your specialization plus the 50 stat points you place yourself, so a fresh character is as strong as a veteran one.
Which race should I pick?
Whichever you like. Racial abilities are off and base stats are the same for every race of a class.
Can I fly?
No. Flying mounts run on the ground so that every fight happens on the same level.
Why is an addon required?
The Parabellum addon carries the stat sheet, the transmog window, the War Front map and HUD. The launcher installs it and keeps it up to date.
Which systems are supported?
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. You need about 11 GB of free disk space for the client.
When does the realm open?
Parabellum is in development. Follow the news page: the launch date will be announced there.
